Kisame Hoshigaki (干柿鬼鮫, Hoshigaki Kisame) is a member of the Akatsuki and is partnered with Itachi Uchiha.
Personality[]
Kisame seems to be a calm individual, hardly showing any emotion or concern.
Appearance[]
Kisame is a shinobi with a distinctive shark-like appearance, complete with pale, blue-grey skin. He also has small, round, white eyes, gill-like facial markings under his eyes, and sharp triangular teeth, much like the other members of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. He also styles his blue hair in the form of a shark fin. As a member of Akatsuki, he also wears dark-purple nail polish. He wears a Kirigakure forehead protector that covers his ears. He also wears the typical cloak of the Akatsuki. He also has a brown sash across the front and back of his cloak to hold Samehada in place. He wears his Akatsuki ring on his left ring finger, bearing the kanji for "south" (南, nan) which is yellow in colour.

As the wielder of one of the swords of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, Samehada, Kisame has mastery of swordsmanship.
Plot[]
Itachi Uchiha!![]
Kisame, along with his partner Itachi Uchiha, come to a tea house to claim its dessert, the Chiffon Cake. When they asked for a table, they run into Itachi's younger brother, Sasuke Uchiha, along with his team Taka. While Sasuke noticed Itachi's presence, Suigetsu, a former acquaintance, noticed his. Kisame noticed how Suigetsu has grown since the last time he encountered him. Seeing that he was in possession of one of the swords from the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, Samehada, he challenges him for the blade. Kisame accepts this challenge and proceed to fight, however, they were using their swords as mallets for a game of whac-a-mole and as kitchen tools. Jūgo then suggest playing a game of bean throwing to settle each others differences. Kisame and Suigetsu then agreed to become oni but Suigetsu is the only one being pelted with beans. Next, Jūgo suggest a heat endurance test to settle Itachi and Sasuke's fight by placing them under a kotatsu. They then watch over as the two fight over the remote to decide which channel they should watch. As a result, the two pull out their strong attacks and destroys the inn in the process. After the battle, Itachi and Kisame depart.
